I spotted one on another forum but the guy was saying it might not work for my 4850 and that it was designed for 8800s. I just want to confirm that there are no specialized ones around and that it will in fact fit my 4850s with out any problems.

It should be able to fit. I have seen other members here with them, but you will have to have adequate cooling for the VRMs.
