well... guyz im new for all this things OCs Heats And everything so... here is the thing
__________________i run my ATi 4870 x2 All day long from 7 in morning till 2 at night ... when i check the card temp at tight it was like 62C is that normal? and if i was going to OC my ATi 4870 x2 should i go over 1000mhz? and what is the stale OC for my GPU one more thing im running my Fan speed at 27% thanks and sorry for being n00b

Wait one minute... you have a Pentium D and you have a 4870x2 and a 17" monitor?Bottleneck? But back on topic, no those temps are fine if they are at load.

62 doesn't sound incredibly hot. My 4850s idled around there. If you are concerned, bump up the fan speed a bit, or create a fan profile in rivatuner to speed up your fan as temps increase (if that applies for ati cards, not sure.) As far as max safe overclock, you really just need to bump up the clocks and then test for stability. If it's stable, bump em some more. Continue until it's not stable, back them down a notch or two, and you're set.

I know i have pentuim D with this card its ***** annoying hehe im upgrading but not soon i think ( 3 or 4 months )
__________________And thanks for the advices but.. is there a program i can check my GPU & CPU stability and heat after overcloaking? note: i Have tried Realtemp but it didnt work for my pentuin D... so any seggestions? and thanks again

HWMonitor is pretty good and shows CPU and GPU temps. Core Temp is another good CPU temp monitoring app.
edit: If you are using CCC, it will show GPU temps as well

thanks man it really wroked with my PD but... i want to check the stability is HWMonitor supportin or i have to get other program?
__________________Edited: should i increase my GPU fan speed? to make it run cooler?
