Default arctic cooler question

Hello,

I've installed an arctic cooler on my Radeon 9800 pro.
Is it normal that you don't feel alot air comming out off the back off the cooler ?( i mean where it get's out off you're case).
cause i feel a very light breeze (almost nothing),when i put it at high speed.

Hi have you tried looking for other other holes for the air to come out? (block them up?) if not could the exhaust vent be blocked?

Im not 100% sure!

I too have one on my 9800pro and the airflow out of the exhaust is not a hurricane but a smooth flow.
If you have it overclocked the temp of the air should be quite warm if it is doing it's job as these suckers run quite hot a found out.

cheers

Ok fair enough but i Recommend that you buy some Arctic Silver 5 as it is the best around and will bring down the temps a lil lower on your card and also you CPU if u want to apply it to that to

Default fill the gap captain!

little late i know but on my past 9800 pro w/ the ac cooler there is quite a gap between the end of the exhaust on the cooler and the grid end thing in the back of the card. if this is left open some of the air is escaping back into the case thus making the dhes thing useless. if you can plug this gap up it will held the air travel out where it should go! yeah like they all said too, not a lot. maybe only 15-20 cfm (i would guess).
