Will manufacturers ever make a HSF cooler for the X2 cards?

I know there are water blocks for the X2 cards but where are the HSF coolers? Not all of us like to use liquid cooling.

Because (in my head) it seems that it wouldnt be bringing as much heat away from the card as it would on a W/C setup, secondly it would be extremely expensive, seeing as it needs to machine both sides and every little crevice in the cards, because if you didnt you would just make a little heat bubble and pop a cap. *JaKe*

Considering the time frame that has passed and there's still nothing I'd say chances are slim. I think it was Thermalright that even suggested to people to what others have been doing and using two coolers.

Any chance you could fit 2 HR-03's? On with the cooler down, and one with the cooler on the top of the card?
Thats the only air cooled way I could imagine it could be cooled. Of course before all that try removing the stock cooler, lap both contacts on the stock cooler; reapply AS5, and of course increase your fan speed to a level that is just below the rest of the case volume.

How are the new GX2 cards linked? Maybe someone will make one of these so you can fit aircooling.

The 4850X2 uses a dual HSF design just like some 3870X2 back in the days. I was hoping Zalman unveil a X2 cooler at this years CES but no cigar. =(

Yea I think this is holding me back from buying a x2 is the cooler design. I am not a fan of the stock HS. I like the idea of the two hr-03s though. Would be nice to see if it works.
