Default I want to buy a GPU cooler (HD 4870 1G), BUT..

I would only want to buy the best. Which is the best air cooler for my GPU, and I only want the best. Like if I was to compare it to a CPU cooler, it would be the Copper TRUE of GPU coolers (if you get what I mean). Last time I asked what's the best to get, people told me to buy a POS that is the DuoOrb and no way can that be the best there is.. It does pretty good, but there has to be better...Right? With me planning to buy something pretty immediate, I need some guidance. I already got Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound I will use for it..

Thanks, suggestions (Links where to buy would be great too)?

Seconded on a thermalright. I just rigged a GT-03 Plus (meant for G80s) onto a 9800GTX+, and the temps are crazy low. Great cooler.

Get the HR-03 GT for your 4870.

I run my card at 55% fan speed, and idle 46-47C. I want to go lower, especially at load so I can OC more..

The best options depending on who you ask are (in no particular order):
Thermalright Trad
Thermalright HR-03
Accelero Twin Turbo
Accelero S1
Scythe Musashi

You can do a little research on those and draw your own conclusions. What are your load temps? Run furmark or atitool for 10 minutes and record your max temps and then compare from there...

Edit:
Check out the link below and you'll see how close these coolers are. The top 4 are sperated by 2c. Granted it's an 8800gt but its still relevant.
