Now i haven't seen the PCB on the other one, but guessing you have this one?

Anyways.. that's the one I thought I got as well, since it was the once on the image from the online store. I see now that they've changed it later on. but anyhow, I thought it was the exactly same card - just a different stock cooler!? I mean... yeah.. since it has the exact same product number also, different PCB would mean different version which again than should mean a different product number?

Why the heck did ASUS have to place thouse f*** transistors there? Just to piss of users? Why not put it on the right hand side at least of the other transistors whitch is in the marked are on the picture... at least then the waterblock would fit. Stupid of ASUS to change on the design like that, and say that it's the same card - not inform of any changes.

I did notice that the card I got were different, but since it came in the same box and all I didn't give it any second thought like I said, until I saw thouse extra transistors there whitch I haven't seen on any image of the PCB on the net? So yeah.. I find it strange.

it appears that the tri-fan is different.......maybe those extra capacitors are necessary for running three fans?.....idk

It's a non-reference card and you bought a reference card waterblock.

And the other version, like Vlasov_581 have, that's a reference card? Because that's the card witch were shown in the product information - unfortinaly I've used it now, and removed the stock cooler and installed it again, so returning it won't be an option. But still, it's clearly that they've misinformed me. I should have checked this up online, but didn't think much of it but beeing a different. Anyways.. going to mail them and see what they're saying.

It's not just about the cooling. I surely don't want a card that sounds like a yet taking of when it's hot. And the Tri-Fan solution is bad also, since it disposes the hot air into the case instead of out.

Well great, any single GPU blocks that fits this card witch I can buy two of and connect together?

I blame myself for not checking up on any differences since I got a card different from the product image, but I would expect the supplier to contact me to see if I still wanted the product if it's built up differently.

Now why the hell would they make the Tri-fan version's PCB different? At least they could have placed thouse bastards more to the right. Would I have known's this earlier on I'd definitly would have returned the card, cause now it's not apeeling to me anymore. yey, I'm screwed. Can't aford selling this card of a bit cheaper to buy a new one either at the moment.

Can't wait for the next generation cards so I can get one that can be used for water cooling ffs.

Just sendt a mail to the supplier, guess they'll answer me tomorrow. But hey, they've changed the image to the tri-fan version AFTER I got the product and some days were gone bye, so what can I defend myself with? I'm guessing they're going to blame me and claim that they had the right product image all along.

Wondering if there is water going in to the part that's in the way? If not I could just modify that part to work. But can't open it to check that out thou, if I'm going to return it for a refund. Darn, I should have checked this up.. really don't know if I'm to hate myself for not checking up on this or the supplier for feeding me wrong information. Feel a bit stupid right now.

I see that the Danger Den block don't have water running thru that part thou, perhaps I shoud get that one instead and modify it to fit.

If I'll figure out a way to loosen one of the screws I accidentally messed up a little when putting it back together.
If so, shure, I could do so - must be when I get home from work thou.
