Default Accelero S1 R2 with how many fans?

I'm thinking about purchasing either a duo orb or an Accelero S1 rev.2. I read in another thread that people strapped 2 120mm's to the Accelero yet it's only 215mm's wide. Anyone got pics?

I'm wondering this too. Also should the fan blow toward or away from the heatsink?

I had this cooler on my 8800GT. Tried 2x80mm, 2x120mm, and 1x120mm. one 120mm strapped to the center gave me the best temps.

Blowing towards so it cools the ram sinks and all that good stuff.

Here is mine, hd4850, the fan should blow toward the videocard, it follows the airflow that way. Although the picture shows them blowing away.

1 120mm is sufficient, as with two on there it didnt drop the temps anymore.

yes, because the airflow is more centered over the gpu. think about it.

Do your cards get THAT hot? My 4870's fan does the job even at full OC.

it was more about replacing the screaming oem fan, but the temps were a nice bonus.

They put a heatsink designed for a 85 watt gpu onto a 110 watt gpu. Fan at 100% with 100% load I get 89ish.
