Yeah after some research your right...mostly.

Note: Do not use cheap aluminum coolers. Their quality is not very high, and aluminum is not resistant against our Liquid Metal. Aluminum could form an alloy with "Coollaboratory Liquid Pro" which would react with the surrounding air's humidity. A black stain forms after a while, showing insulating qualities. ' Therefore: No contact of "Coollaboratory Liquid Pro" with aluminum. NO ALUMINUM COOLERS!
Thats what i was referring too.

Well for GPU you want something non-conductive, the best performing paste with this property is Arctic Ceramic although for the CPU this will suck.

With the CPU you want the very best possible, technically that would be CL Liquid Metal Pro but that's very experianced user demanding so the next best thing is either IC7 Diamond or OCZ Freeze. Some users have reported mixed results with IC7 saying that it's better by 1-2 degrees and others reporting the exact opposite. OCZ Freeze is a stud in the wall and is right up there with IC7 95% of the time but no users report any variation in performance.

OCZ Freeze is what I use and I recommend it.

Yes, but it's not as versatile.

It's not to be used on aluminum
It's also electrically conductive

OCZ freeze is very good, but I personally find it hard to spread.
Get MX-2

Ok only my AC7 has a copper base, my TRUE is aluminium. So I guess that would be a bad idea.

And I usually don't spread the paste myself but let the heatsink pressure do it, so I don't mind if the OCZ Freeze is a bit thick.

I just ran out of OCZ freeze, so I used some MX-2 on my setup. My temps went up by 3 degrees. So yeah, OCZ freeze is amazing.

Edit: The base of your TRUE isn't aluminum, it's copper. They just nickel plate it so it looks silvery.
