Ok, I'm looking for good thermal paste that is suitable for both GPU and CPU. I read something about AS5 not being suitable for GPU's.

AS5, just put the right amount on, the silver COULD be damaging to the GPU, but just put a sensible about on. Plenty of people use AS5 for both with no problems

OCZ Freeze, MX-2, or IC7
Some of the best TIMS around. AS5 is old, and out performed by most these days. The reason its not suitable on gpu's is that the silver particles conduct electricity so if you accidentally smear it you can get a short.

IC Diamond 7 averages 3.1 degrees cooler than AS5
There are pastes out there that provide better cooling than IC7 (by only one or two degrees), but from what I hear, they degrade much much quicker than IC7. IC7 has a much a longer life. Data: http://www.overclock.net/freebies/44...-compound.html
