Default safe HD4850 temps

So doing some research shows there are many different limits for safe temps, but which one is the real one.

i've seen:
under 80
under 90
under 120

hmmm makes me wonder.....

I'm pretty confident the cards can take over 100, so I'd go with under 120C, but I would be surprised if the card's lifespan wasn't being reduced if you regularly loaded at 100+.

Thankfully mine has a non-ref cooler on it, and hits the mid 80s (with the fan is set to 25C). I have a zalman VF-1000 lying around but thanks to me using a Dell I'd need to commit some *more* internal surgery to get it to fit. All this heat being dumped inside my case is irritating though.

EDIT: Ouch. OCCT's GPU test peaks me at 96'C regardless of my fanspeed. methinks I might need to take a look at this cooler to see if it actually does anything.
