Default Do I need new vRam pads?

I'm going to clean my cooler (reference) right now. My question is, when I take the cooler off to replace the TIM, would I have to replace the thermal pads on the ram too or could I just put some as5 on them? OR, will the current pads suffice?

Current pads will suffice.

But don't put AS5 on them, you'll want to put a non conductive paste on your RAM if you choose to use paste.

The pads last a while, just keep them how they are, there's no need to add thermal paste.

EDIT: Argh...Tator beat me to it.

Hopefully the temps go down. 100C core with 100% fan speed is not cool. at all. (no pun intended)
