Should I apply some OCZ freeze on my Radeon 4890? Should I remove the shroud? Will this void my warranty?

Yeah it would void your warranty, but they might not notice if you send it in for RMA.

i changed my stock paste and RMA'd my card..what are they gonna do..take a a sample of the paste bring it to a laboratory to tell its not the stock TIM?
