I am at a loss for this one. The accellero is a tad cheaper but I would have to buy extra RAM sinks because I know from experience the included ones don't work for jack #$%#. I have heard good things about the Muashi though, but I worry that it won't be able to keep my GPU temps below 70C on those long furmark stability runs. Other suggestion for yet better coolers are welcome too.

Have you used software volt modding and tested in furmark?

The Mushashi bro. The thing rocks! When I had it on my 4770 I never went over 55C even when it was overclocked to 915/1000! And when I had it at stock, I was freaking idling at ambient!
Oh and the max voltage for a 4770 is 1.2 and I had mine running at 1.175 <.< LOTS OF HEAT! The stock cooler was hitting +94C even at 100%!

The stock cooler sounds like vacuum is why. Plus I am the type who stress tests their hardware for several hours at a time and never wants temperatures to ever go above a certain safe zone at any time, ever. Stability is #1 for me.

musashi is great. with it, my xfx is ususally 10c cooler than my toxic when loaded. you might need to replace the fans come in with it. they are not that loud but nor silent either.
here is a pic of my setup

When you get the Mushashi, make sure you use quality thermal compound. Not the crap that comes with it. I suggest either OCZ Freeze, AC MX-2, IC7, or my least favorite, AS5

Some comparisons...
IDLE: Top GPU-z is w/ Musashi (fans on high), Bottom is stock cooler @ 51% fan (anything higher and noise becomes a factor for me). ![]() LOAD: Same settings as above ![]() Now here's where things get interesting... STRESS TESTED: Stock cooler in this scenario is at 100% ![]() Take from that what you will...the stock cooler does a slightly better job, but we all know what that damn fan sounds like @ 100%.
