It's just out of stock currently. I'd play the Vapor-X second, then that Asus.

However... I have a feeling Vapor-X and Toxics start in the same place, then if they can't get the 960 core that comes on a Toxic they sell it as a Vapor-X.

I'd stray away from that one for a while until we start hearing some better experiences with it.

So best cooler is Toxic/Vapor-X.

Best card with cooler is Toxic/Asus.

EDIT: I was talking about 4890s that whole time...

You could also get the cheapest 4870 on there and grab this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835186027

... Or get the Toxic??

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102815

In stock and everything.

I don't know. I've never seen a direct comparison between the two.

OP... make sure to get 1GB memory if you plan to be playing any games with intense textures like Crysis or GTA4.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150395
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121291

which one would be better? the asus looks like a better/quiet cooling, but the xfx has a factory overclock, but might be loud
