Default Asus EAH4850 Matrix Fan Not Working

Hey guys

When I first got my 4850 Matrix from Asus, the sound from the fan running at max speed when booting my computer was new to me since I used had upgraded from a 2400 Pro from Powercolor.

But, now I've noticed that I don't even hear the fan EVER anymore!

I installed new drivers (ATI 9.7), changing settings in Asus iTracker but nothing is working...help me

Thanks in advance for all who helpor at least try

Does the fan spin up when you're booting? Regardless of what drivers or utilities you have running in XP, the fan should still audibly spin up during boot...

Edit: oops, reread... so fan doesn't spin up during boot? I think the fan maybe dead? Check to see if the fan got unplugged? Does iTracker still throttle the GPU speeds when you switch profiles?

Did you mess with the bios at all? I have the same card and could send you my stock bios if needed.

No, I have not touched the BIOS, I'm a total n00b when it comes to BIOS
I'll have a look at the card to see if the fan is unplugged

"Does iTracker still throttle the GPU speeds when you switch profiles?"
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean
