They both cool about the same, but the Sapphire is quieter from what I hear.

Where are you getting the name battle forge? That's just a crappy pack-in game...

get whatever is the cheapest. your friend can always get an aftermarked cooler.
but if any of these have voltage regulator maybe it would be a good buy. edit: im not sure the vapor-x looks the best but take a look around the net to be sure if it is the best: Quote:

I have the toxic. It's fantastically quiet and can overclock like a beast. Currently the fans at 60%, dead quiet, and overclocked to 1010 core and 1200 memory. I haven't done anything with the voltage. I just plugged it in, opened Rivatuner and turned it up!
I could do a quick Crysis bench if you'd like. EDIT: I currently have the E7500 at 3.85GHz, so it would give you a pretty good feeling for how it would perform in a similar system. I'll run it right now. Will edit post with results. Ugh... I have to reinstall Crysis... Oh well... doing it anyways. Alright... having some issues installing Crysis. My comp has been very angry at me now that I have all kinds of different Windows 7 installations and with all this overclocking and stuff. For some reason I can't authenticate my W7 install... and the activation thing for Crysis isn't working either... So the benches are a no-go for now. However, I'll try to get some in the near future.
