Edit: I may have to go with the HR-03 after all since the ramsinks are stuck on there pretty good with that arctic silver adhesive, and the big ones won't allow me to attach the T-Rad2. Good thing I remembered that before I bought anything. Also, can you mount the HR-03 so the heatsink is on the other side of the card for space purposes or what?
Here's a poll I want to know what the best air cooler for my 4850 is. I want to redo my voltmod, but I was getting horrid temps before with my duorb. So what is currently the best air cooler for the 4850? Edit 9/23/09: I've been doing some digging, and apparently the T-Rad2 gets better temps than an HR-03 GT. Anybody want to dispute that?

The best is probably the Thermalright HR-03 GT with a nice fan on it. The Sychte Musashi is also a nice one or the Arctic Accelero S1 Rev. 2.

Personally, the Sychte Musashi... but both coolers circulate air inside the case instead of sending hot air out of the case. IMO stick with the stock reference one that already does this or watercool the card.

I tried the zalman GV-1000 on my old 4850 and it performed extremely well. The musashi is awesome too u can have it on full speed and u can barely hear a thing. I have it hooked up on my 4890. No problems.

So we have quite a few votes for the HR-03GT. That's what I had my eye on anyway, so it looks like that's my best option. Thanks for the input.

The HR-03 GT is the best in terms of performance (especially with the right fan).

I'm using the duorb, and it doesn't work for me and volt modding. Thanks though. What about the T-Rad2? With a couple 120mm fans, is that better than the hr-03 GT with a couple 120's?
Also, if the GT's just the best all around, what kind of fan should I put on it? Or fans?

I'd get an accellero s1 rev 2 with a pair of 120mm fans on it
I havent seen much beat that combo.
