Thanks for the input. What happens when you start running hardcore games and apps? What value do you put it on?

i found that auto kept it way to hot. I used to run 35% idle and like 65% load.

Once again. Many thanks for the answers. I also find that in my case AUTO keeps it too hot. So I wanted to see what manual setting should I put in idle and what manual should I put when I game. Problem is I am worried that if I select something around 65-70 for gaming it will not be enough and my card will heat up. This is a positive for the AUTO setting it adjusts accordingly. If I put it on 100 % then my head and ears will bleed

I have a number of different profiles. The "quiet" one, for anything but gaming - fan at 33%
The "low" for playing oblivion or other fairly low end games - 40% fan The "gamer" for playing COD/crysis/grid/ any other high end game - 55% fan the "full" for benching, suicide runs, testing, etc - 100% fan when doing normal PC work and surfing, temps stay high 40's. Anything else, they seldom cross the 60C mark, in a 74*F room. Using hotkeys to switch between profiles makes it super easy.
