So I don't make the same mistake and buy another cooler that doesn't fit, how can I find out a selection of gpu coolers that definitely fits my particular HIS 4870? It's the H487FN1GP, this one:

I think I've found my cooler, the HR-03 GT, and I seem to recall this was also mentioned to me by coffee junky I think.
__________________http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...review-21.html This looks like it would clear my card because of its height and should line up with the holes, right? My card for reference,.. I've marked 2 areas where akasa vortexx was blocked; red line marks the capacitors where I had to slice off some of the akasa backplate to fit in front of them, and yellow marking the black heatsink that was blocking the front of the akasa. ![]() ![]() Do you think it will definitely fit? According to hardware canucks it will, and to my eyes, it looks like it. Also, I want to get a blue led fan, not sure what size 80mm or 120mm. My concern is weight and pulling down on the 4870 especially with a fan on.. There's already some mild bending, I think because of the 2 power connectors pulling it down a bit.

And fan wise, going for a 120mm, LED. Which of these would look best and what kind of CFM and RPM do I need?

That's a fairly tall VRM heatsink. Too much for the 14mm clearance of the Twin Turbo, Musashi, and t-rad.
The HR03 should work just fine.
