Default Accelero Twin Turbo on the 4890

Hello there..

Ive just installed an accelero twin turbo on my 4890.. I have connected it directly to the PSU using the molex connecto, because I couldnt find out how to connect it via the gfx card first, and then the PSU. Actually I know how, but for some reason, it seems that it draws power from the vid card, and not the PSU => Low RPM => Higher Temps..

Any ideas whats the max RPM it can go, and how to control it?

tnx alot in advance

hi!
i have mounted a 120mm PWM fan connected directly to one of the motherboard's connectors, so i can control/ monitor it using rivatuner or similar tools.

i also kept the stock cooler in order to make a "poor man's turbo module" for my accelero.

now i have the bigger fan on the right and the small fan form the original sapphire cooling connected directly to the GPU on the left

i always keep t on very low RPM since it is a small fan and it emits noise

(just an idea)

It should plug in the same place you plug the stock fan in,and be controlled by the card bios.Max rpm is 2000.You may need ati tool or rivatuner to setup your fan speeds to your likeing.

Good luck
