AC Twin Turbo is like the S1 Rev.2 with two 80mm PWM fan mounted with their own braket, actually much easier since you can leave the fan on automatic control.

My Zotac 9800GTX+ used to load at 103C when first purchased, dropped to around 90C with fresh TIM but sill too high. With the AC it never goes above 70C. Currently idling at 39C

4. LGA1366 for SLI/CF.
5. Performance Enhance to Standard for memory issues on Gigabyte boards.

That part is true. I just want something that is quiet and works. I think both coolers fit the bill so I'll see which one I get.

A totally off-topic question though, for you, just because I'm interested: In your sig, it says avoid all Enermax fans. O_o ... I wanna know why.

The thermalright T-Rad2 is an incredible cooler as well, although a bit more expensive.
I installed Enzotech copper sinks on the VRM's and the RAM with a set of Scythe 100x12mm fans on the T-Rad.

Like I said a bit costly for a cooling solution but worth every penny in my book.

You could get either a small fan controller to stow in the case and control only the GPU fans OR get a fan that has a speed controller on it... i am using Antec Tri-cools from my case and can go from low/med/high by the tick of a switch

I don't think the Twin turbo would be the best choice...subpar fans that could also be high db as well?

It would be best if you got the S1 and choose your own single good quality fan...again thats running two fans vs one as well...

The S1 is where its at

Make sure you are buying the S1 Rev. 2 if you go with that setup...

That etailer doesn't carry S1s apparently.

Well, obtaining the S1 isn't a problem since it's available at my local computer store for 26 CAD. I; however, need a 140mm fan though from an etailer to put on it. Would this be any good?

And, is mounting fairly easy? I have never tried mounting a non-standard fan on any kind of heatsink before so I'm not sure exactly how it goes.

I have my fans rubber banned on ATM since my system is running without a case...

Most everyone just uses a black zip tie at the top and bottom of the fan...and any high CFM 140mm fan will do fine and it would seem the fan you choose is pretty decent...you should do a DB test with some current fans you have as so to give you an idea on what your limit is noise wise so you can get the highest CFM whilst retaining the quiet aspect of your setup

Goodluck

Yeah i can see that and your point is?

We need to make sure the OP doesn't pick the wrong cooler or the S2 based on its name or because it looks just like the S1...i didn't see your post clarifying anything to that nature right?
