Default 4870 memIO temps

Hi,

Just got my 24 inch HDMI screen, beautiful btw ;D

Just stressing my GPU a bit on the new resolution, i realize my memory is going to work harder etc. It got up to 94.5 degrees, is this okay or a bit to hot? Better to be safe then sorry!

Thanks,

Travis

I've seen 105C on crysys DX10 on the stock cooler, under 100C is OK. I doubt the fan even went to 100%.

memIO is part of the GPU die, plus it tends to run hot, so that seems normal. However if you want to see an improvement I would recommend a remount of the stock cooler

Yeah the fan is usually at 65% but i just pumped it up by another 10% we'll see how that goes. I might give it a remount like coffeejunky suggested.

Thanks guys.
