Default xfx 4870 aftermarket cooler

OK i want one for my 4870 the model is HD-A4870-ZHFC VA.5 and I'm new to this stuff and I'm kinda nervous about those puny ram-sinks do they really work good or will it in the long run shorten the life of the memory? if not then whats a good aftermarket cooler for my card that's under $80 USD shipped(newegg preferably)
i was looking at these but i still don't know

Yeah, that VF1000 is going to do you good. If the HR-03 fits the 4870, find one of those and strap a 120mm fan to it.

Here you go. Grab one of those, and buy a 120mm fan with good air pressure. I'd suggest a gentle typhoon.

Those two things together should be around $70 shipped
