What is the best way to manually monitor temps on a 9800 Pro with a Zalman dual heat pipe cooler?
The board doesn't have a sensor so I am temporarily screwed. I know I need a temp sensor/reader from somewhere like Radio Shack. I have worked with T/C's before so I am thinking maybe if I drill a hole to fit the T/C in the HS block and fill it with AS5 before putting the T/C in, the effect will be negligible.

I think you answered your own question...lol
Some LCD temp displays come with a diode that can be placed anywhere the wires will allow it, thats a cheap second alternative that doesnt require holes...
