Default X1900XTX w/ vf900-cu

Hi there guys,
I've just bought the vf900-cu today and i installed it, i used silver 5. For some reason though, I'm actually getting hotter tempuratures than the stock cooler. Is there a reason why? I've only got 85 degree Celcius w/ stock cooler at loads, but I'm getting like 110 Celcius w/ the vf900-CU? What's going on?

It has to be seated badly, take of the heatsink, clean the paste of with 90% alcohol and then reatach the heatsink with a TINY!! drop of AS5 and make sure the cooler is on tight enough.

It's probably because the stock heatsink has more copper and definitely has higher fan speeds
