hi all, i'm trying to flash my card from pro to xt. i have read through lucid's post(04/09/2004), but some of the links are dead.
i'm looking for info on two steps.
1- can i use a 9800xt 256mb bios on my 9800 pro 128mb card.
2- how do i set up the bootable floppy?

im pretty sure youll need the 128mb and you copy the files to the floppy and insert the floppy as you turn on the comp. make sure floppy boots b4 the hdd tho

what if i use the gecube 9800xt 128mb bios?. does it matter if i dont use a sapphire one.
mr. nooblar apart from the new bios what other files do i copy to the floppy disc

Well ive neer flashed a card b4 but i know you should stay within the same amount of ram so a 128mb xt flash sounds good. I think thats the only thing that should go on the disk but im not sure..And i dunno about the differetn brand flashing sorry man lol gotta wait for someone whos done this b4 to really help you out
