Default 9600xt with R350 core can i open the pipes?

R9600xt has the r360 core? If it does, why my has the r350?
As i know the r350 is used on R9800pro (w 8 pipelines) i can unlock the otheer 4 pipes on my card?

Yours should have the r360 or rv360. Did you verify by looking on the chip?

Is it possible that part of the 6 got scraped off and looks like its says r350?

If it is a r350 then it seems possible that you would be able to open up the extra 4 pipes. If you complete this successfully you should write a FAQ on it

By the way im going to change the title of this thread to something a little more descriptive.

In the future please try to use more descriptive titles

There is a guide on here somewhere. Let me see if I can find it

Edit: You could try RivaTuner first and see if that can do anything.
