__________________got ri dof rage3d and down loaded omaga drives and the lines went away. i went to work, came home home and found out that the omega drivers are crap. my monitor was below 16bit. had to reboot in safe mode to get rid of the G#&D!*% MOMMY HUMPER RAT FINK drivers. i spent 3 hours trying to get the lines back and THAT was the fun part. i can live with lines but sub NES grafics.

Another thing to think about is that its best not to run ati tool for just 10 min unless you only play games for 10 min. Its usualy best to run an artifact test for about as long if not longer time that you play games. Usualy best times is when you are asleep and just check the log in the morning and see how long it went before it detected artifacts.
