So I decided I want to overclock my radeon 9200se...
__________________I downloaded and installed ATI Tool and ran Find Max Core for about 3 hours, it settled around 300 I ran Find Max Mem for about an hour, i was getting impatient...and it settled around 175 So I put the two settings in and set clock...I ran the 3D cube for 30 minutes and the average fps was only 42, so I wanted to see progress and I took defaults and ran the cube...average was 36 fps.... Anyone know some good settings or run me through a good way to use ATI Tools.... I'm running: Radeon 9200se 128mb (Gigabyte card) AMD Athlon XP 2800+ (not overclocked, 2083 Mhz) 512 ram 160 gig Samsung hdd + 80 gig WD hdd Asus A7V8X-X Mobo 510 watt psu Much thanks in advance...

Well, what were your stock clocks? What drivers are you using?
The Omega Drivers (www.omegadrivers.net) can give a big performance boost. They come with Radlinker, wich is a great overclocking program.

I installed Radlinker, but left whatever I had installed with ATI and updates...so I guess I have Catalyst as well...

Yeah, the version that is built in to the omegas is kind of like Catalyst, but it has more optios and is optimized to work with the omegas.
The GPU clock is a good overclock for the card, but I might run the mem again, I think you should be able to get more.

9200SE, Is one of the worst card's ever. My old 9200 ATI, wasn't a SE, but I got 120fps on the cube, But I would recommend you get a new ATI Card, 9600XT, 9800Pro/XT. Or if you want to spend alot of money, Go for a X800 or X850 XT/Pro (AGP, PCIE)

how in the world did you get 120 fps on a 9200 ... even non-se thats still amazing, I can only get like 30 to 40 even with a minor OC, thats crazy.

I never oc'd, but SE only has 64-bit in it, Normal 9200 has 128bit, Same clocks, But better memory. but it did not always stay, it kept changing but never went below 70 from what I know. I Was able to run Rainbow Six 3 at 1280x1024 on 9200 np, only lag there was, is smoke. Nothing big. Doom 3 at 640x480 ran at 60fps np. Medium Quality.

not what I mean, I know SE is 128mb with 64-Bit, normal 9200 is 128mb with 128-bit.

So 300 is a good core speed, but I could get more than 175 out of my mem?
__________________I tried some peoples settings like 290 / 170 and got 60+ fps but there were artiftacts.... -- Yeah I know its a bad card...I didn't think I'd do as much gaming as I am doing now when I was building the computer... Anyway in June I'm planning on getting a geforce 6800 Ultra or GT...which one is better?
