Default powercolor raden 9800se 128ddr

Have what appears to be a stable overclock, running the core at 405 and mem at 380, plays all my games without artifacts that are noticeable to me. Just that after a hour or so of gaming either the fps start to slow down way bad that its hard to even quit the game, or it just quits the game for me back to windows. Using the latest ati catalyst driver, 5.4 ibelieve, even tried the latest omega, but no difference between either one. help!!!

I have same issue sometimes.

For me, after i have been playing for an hour or so, things start to heat up. When you push you pc to continual strain like CS does, it might be that your comp is heating up and causing the internal cooling to take most of your power resulting in fluctuation or overall slowdown your you system.

Thus is my best guess based on my exp. Then again, im running Doom 3 and CS:S on m laptop...

Hope it helps.

That card I have found out is not a good overclocker. When the fps slow down its getting pretty hot. I had the same experiance with mine. Which its getting replaced tomorrow.

the most graphics intense games i own and run are nfsu2 and lotr rotk. My cpu never gets above 40c, u think maybe i should unhook a couple of case fans to free up the 12v rail? yeah but stock sucks, and have friends with the same card and managed to softmod, which I couldnt, so turned to ocing, also i dld 3dmarko3 from guru3d, but it dosnt work, im kinda bummed, as i have dialup
