Default For those ppl with the crysis hot fix driver

Does anyone had successfully uninstall the CCC that came with the hotfix? I tried uninstall using ATI uninstaller then safe mode driver cleaner, even use a program called "Windows install clean up" by MS. When I install the 7.11 package, I got a message saying the hotfix CCC is more update then the CCC 7.11 provided. So I have to install the hot fix first then replace it with 7.11. Using 7.11 driver with the hot fix CCC. It seem to me they are working fine for now.

I don't want to use the hot fix cuz I play mostly is Hellgate, COD4 and various othergame. Didn't get crysis yet

I am currently running the 7.11 Crysis hotfix. I was running the release 7.10's. The Crysis hotfix is kinda strange as it has a higher internal indentifier than even the release 7.11's if Im correct. My problem is I dont want to install the release 7.11's as some say the Crysis performance and graphical errors come back even on the 7.11's from what I have heard.

I had a similar issue like yours above while chopping and changing between the hotfix and 7.11 on XP.

Anytime the install/uninstall threw up a message like your receiving I manually deleted all ATI files and folders and deleted all ATI reg keys I could find. If you use Spybot S&D, there's a very good registry tool within the program which helped me clean out the leftover ATI crap.

I'm running the 7.11's at the moment. Crysis couldn't hold my interest after I picked up COD4. I probably won't look at Crysis again until the 3870 X2 or better appears.

But COD4 runs better for me in 7.11 than the hotfix.

I'm using he hotfix drivers for all my games: CoH, MOHAA, GoW, Crysis, SimCity and I am veyr satisfied with the performance. If ATI can actually make my card pefrom even ebtter with the 7.12s coming out on the 18th (apparently) then ATI has impressed me immensely!

They will be out in the next few days I'm sure. They would want to get them out before christmas so they can all take the day off I'm sure.

Basically the 7.11 hotfix drivers are newer then the offical 7.11's, which is why you get that error message. The offical 7.11's do not include the fixes that are in the hotfix, but the 7.12's should.
