X800 XL results not as good as I hoped for. - Overclock.net

I did some overclocking with ATI tool last night and got the core and mem up to 469/569 respectively. today i decided to run 3dMark01 on it to see what kind of numbers it would put up with a 70MHz increase in core and mem. i only got 300 more points out of it unfortunately. Could this be because of my cpu? I'm pretty sure that my video card is fast enough to post better numbers than what I got today. 1884->19205 I also ran the test a third time with everything turned up at 1024x768 just to see what I would lose and it dropped about 3000 points. Is this about the norm for the other XL owners?

3dm01 isnt realy the best program to se for a x800xl benct see what u can get with 05 or 03

try OCing your cpu and upping the voltage to your card abit

ati cards are diferent when it comes to vmoding u need to do it physicaly on em

im not confident enough to do the vmod with this. i drink too much coffee so the hands aren't the stablest. i'll try 3DM03 and 05 to see if i get any better results. thanks for the input everyone
