Default 9600XT new record?

Ive just pumped my 9600XT in to 625Mhz core, 125Mhz increase. And I got a few artifact. I changed my HS with a Zalman Chipset Cooler and I added a fan on it. http://www.zalmanusa.com/usa/product...dx=65&code=014

625Mhz @ 44C Idle 29C max lol god that wos pretty cool. On 626 Mhz My card crash =(, What I want to ask if it could hurt my card @ that speed with a low Temp. Should I keep that speed when playing? Should I care even I got a few artifact? about 6pixels some times... I use old scanning method in Atitool
Thanks for all answer!!

artifacts mean that you're overheating...but you said you have a good temp, so keep the way it is

I test the temp of the HS only 40C The core should be 44 C but the artifact could be a voltage prob

any ram cooling?

artifacts are usually ram overheating rather than core overheating. Core overheating gives you that huge fuzzy freeze mess on the screen

the ram is what gives you the big performance increase, more than the core anyways
