Default CCC not loading

Ok so here is what i did

I uninstalled the 8.5 software in control panel then rebooted into safe mode ran driver sweeper restated regular and installed the 8.6 software package that includes CCC. Everything installed just fine and restared.

Now here is the problem under device manager it says 8.501.0.0 and CCC is in the start menu but will not load.

I have also done what i described above twice now

My advice, use the old control panel lastest one 7.12 i think and you can also use ati tray tools. I stop using CCC a long time ago, takes too many resources and just a waste of space to look at. They should redone and take notes from Nvidia.

You're not trying to say that nTune is better than CCC are you? I agree with you on CCC being very annoying, I never used it in the first place.
