Default Interesting Information about my GPU(2400HD)

I found some interesting information in different system viewer programs and i also believe i finally found the cause of why this Video Card is not running very stable.

#1

It says Shader Model 4.0 there, which is normal.

#2

Now 2 things here, looking at some of the GL features for this ATI card, alot of the extensions/features are missing and reads this:

" GL_ATI_blend_weighted_minmax was not found, but is available in driver version 2.0 ATI-1.5.24 "

" GL_EXT_texture_compression_dxt1 was not found, but is available in driver version 2.0 ATI-1.5.24 "

What is Driver Version 2.0, ATI 1.5.24?

Second:

Says Shader Model 3.0

#3 One of the tech guys over at the GL site said this:

It's an ATI problems with OpenGL 2.1. Their drivers are not optimized. (I even suspect it is software emulated).

What does he mean?

Says Shader Model 3.0

#5 And last:

It says no open GL acceleration, only software supported. Is that what the tech guy was talking about?

So i guess, what do everyone think about this, error in programs, or is this card lacking open GL hardware acceleration?

I sent a email to visiontek telling them about this.....
