Default 4800 series card hotfix driver

So people here keep telling me to install the 8.6 and the hotfix drivers.

Other forums say the hotfix is a stand-alone driver. I only install the hotfix.

So what is it? 8.6 and hotfix or hotfix only?

Wait, I have just installed the 8.7 beta drivers. Do I have to install the hotfix as well?

Download here includes 3in1 Hotfix/Display Driver/Catalyst Control Center.

With those and this AMD Clock tool I'm running GPU @ 730/1200 clocks.

So the AMD Clock Tool lets you up your clocks past CCC?

Is there anyway to get the AMD GPU clock tool to run at startup? I don't always leave my PC on, so it's rather annoying to remember to run the tool everytime I turn my computer on.

Install the Hotfix only. The Hotfix is a STANDALONE driver
