Trying to Xfire in Vista64
Moved to Vista x64 this morning and now that I got ATI drivers installed I shutdown to add card 2 and once I start up CCC crossfirex doesn't show and Vista says there is a driver error and stops device. Look in device manager for card #2 and find this
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)."
Before I knew this error was going on I reinstalled the drivers after adding card 2 b/c I didn't see xfirex in CCC and thats when it told me there was a driver error on card 2 and it is stopped. I did not remove card 2 when I reinstalled drivers and CCC.
How do I go about fixing this? Both cards worked perfectly fine in XP x64 last night. I installed Vista first time with both hooked up but reformatted again and only installed with one so that isn't the problem. Only thing I can think of is to take out card 2 and take the drivers off and then install them and then add card 2 and hope but not sure that's going to do it. Trying to update driver from device manager on card 2 is a no go and says driver is fine yet it just told me it wasn't and was stopping the device.
Edit: Ok I disabled the card and re-enabled it and CrossfireX shows but will not enable once I check it and now I can't get CCC to even open.
