3870 X2 bad performance... HHEEEEELLLLP!!!
Hi, I've been trying to overclock my 3 months old rig and Hell!! I can'y get more than 10700 with 3dMark 06!!!???? Could my mobo be the problem?

My cpu's running smooth at 3.43gHz, and the GPU's running at 900/1002...

You have to OC the cores of the 3870x2 separately.

Ok...I've upped my CPU to 3.55 gHz and the gpu to 918/1018.... I now get 11978 out of 3dMark 06... i've oc'd my card with the lates RivaTuner... And how am I supposed to oc eache core seperately?... if I try to oc the "default monitor" gpu with riva, it keeps going back to 278/800....

Ok... now i've oc'd both gpu's with amdclock tool to 924/1020 and 918/1008 with my quad running at 3.555gHz... just got this on 3dMark06...

Something's still fishy here
We both have a few things in common: Q6600 (mine at 3.15) P35 mobo 4GB Ballistix (mine is running 4-4-4-12 2T 700MHz 1:1 right now) I can pull roughly 15,000 at my settings without touching card clocks at all.

i think its your cpu score, you should be getting near 5800. Either you didn't enable all the cores on your cpu or a core is busted/defective either that or you have to much crap running in the background hogging the cpu resources.
