ATITool not working
I have a 4850, and i'm not trying to overclock with ATITool, I just want to use the artifact test, but the program won't boot up at all. It just gives me that error that everyone clicks don't send on. Anybody else having this problem or know how to deal with it?
Edit: What the hell, for some reason it starts working as soon as I post this thread.

Mine gives that "dont send" crash every time I try to exit, no problems if I leave it on the tray though.

I am sorry about hijacking this post... But I too am having problems with 4850 and ATITool.
__________________If I open ATI Tool to test for artifacts then CCC stops working... ATI Tool has a driver right... I installed ATI Tool after installing my 8.7b CCC... I wonder if I install the 8.7 would it work correctly.

I wonder what's with this... even at stock clocks I get artifacts from 27b4, I find that really hard to believe, and this is from both/either card.

I don't have a 4850, but Atitool wont even open for me, just sits in the tray when I initialize the program. Right clicking, or left clicking the tray icon does nothing, and I never see the GUI window.

Have you guys tried first uninstalling the drivers for the 4870, then uninstalling ATItool. Then reinstalling the drivers and then reinstalling ATItool. I had an issue with ATItool and that fixed it. That was for the 3870 though.
