LOL, We're all salivating over his desktop skin but ignoring his problem. If you haven't re-installed XP after changing motherboards, that's very likely your problem. Make sure you format your HDD if you do re-install.

I think that is a error given when the .net framework 2.0 is not installed or not correctly installed.

Reinstall .net 2.0 or higher, then install the catalyst, problem should be resolved. Of course uninstall all ATI software using the uninstall utility hehe, and Driver Cleaner Pro of course....

If you have removed the old drivers why do I still see riviatuner in your quick launch bar? Does this mean it is still loading up?

sounds like its driver cleaner time.
and if that doesn't work then it will be hard drive reformatting and reinstalling windows time. Motherboard switches don't mesh very well with XP; too many driver conflicts. Vista on the other hand will just boot and run fine.

I would try reinstalling net framework 2.0. I believe 3.0 is out as well, just get that one instead
