Default First time oc ati x1300 pci

I know I need a new system but here it is I have finally found software that will let me oc my gpu and I know that I first need to do GPU and then memory by themselves to find best stable oc. my question is my stock gpu is 452Mhz and I now have it at 600Mhz and it is not giving me any problems and I am steadily gaining fps. what do I use besides 3dmark to test stability and when should I say (Stop) going any higher just because it might get too hot or something I am using Video card stability test/benchmark, furmark & lightsmark

thanks for time

joe

You're doing fine if you're checking temps periodically, thats the most important.

Isn'y furmark open GL so is the stability option does that not matter because stability is stability?

Basically I want to be able to scan for artifacts without installiny ati tray tools do you know a way?? I just don't know how to tell if my card is becoming unstable like I said I have like a 40% oc right now but I want to be able to know when to stop

btw I just downloaded 3Dmark06 & also paid for the registration

thanks guys

joe
