Update:
All motherboard drivers are installed from the manufacturer's website. There was in fact an AGP driver.

However ATI Drivers still won't install . Same issue. And to add to the list, I've also tried 8.7's now as well.

I will now be trying what Grunion suggested (kinda sorta). I'm going to let Windows Update try to install the driver. That will then more than likely put me to a black screen with a cursor, and it'll lock up there. Maybe if I just let the sucker run like that for an hour, maybe it'll come out of it?

From what I've read, that issue seems to be something to do with the driver installing, as ATI recommends to wait 20-30 minutes until "the hard drive LED quits blinking". So since I'm on an old and SLOW IDE hard drive, maybe it could take longer? Either way, I'll let it stay at that blank cursor screen as long as it likes. I'm going to set it up to install that update, and go to bed.

Update:
The Windows Update drivers didn't do anything either. I'm stuck here guys. No matter what, a driver WILL NOT INSTALL. Why not ?

they're the oldest XP drivers ati's site is still hosting. from nov. 07.

Just tried those, still doesn't work. Same issue, it reboots, and hangs on the Windows boot screen .

I had issues with loading 8.12s and went to the XG 8.12s, loaded right up.
