ATI overclocking
I was wondering if there is anything out there other than Catalyst so OC my 4850s. I tried ATI tool ver 0.27B3 and when i installed it asked about the drivers (and i clicked install anyway) but im not sure if it actualy did install the drivers. When i set the mem and clock speeds and then click set clocks button, they go back to zero. I'm sure I can get more than 700/1160 out of these cards. I saw someone get 800+ out of a 3870...

AMD has a "AMD GPU Clock Utility". Works for me on a mobile HD3650.

Well your problem is 2 fold. Visiontek's stock bios NEEDS to be flashed.
They are being undervolted right now ,and the stock fan profile is fubar. I get 800 + /1100 on my identical card.
