Can anyone help me out?
![]() The CCC 8.12 driver installer hangs during the Analyze step at Detecting basic system configuration. I tried running it in compatability for Vista, and that didn't work either. It installs perfectly fine in Windows Vista, so I know it's 7. Thanks.

The 8.12 CCC will not run with more then 4Gb of ram. I found this out when trying to install 8.12 when it was released. And from what I can tell, the Windows 7 beta drivers will also not install. I had to install 8.11 drivers.
I did multiple reinstalls of my OS and nothing worked. Then I removed 4Gb of ram and they installed fine. I tested the CCC and everything was perfect. Then I powered down, reinstalled the 4Gb for a total of 8Gb, and the drivers wouldn't work. http://forums.amd.com/game/messagevi...hreadid=107198 http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?p=1033610519 http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?p=1161888

I had the same issue. Had to do a reinstall of W7.
But I also tried installing/extracting to a different folder. I.e ATI instead of /ati technologies/ that got me further through the install. Why not use W7 pre-release drivers?
