Hi!
__________________I'm trying to overclock my new PowerColor 4870 PCS+ 512MB, but in CCC i was able to reach only 800MHz for GPU and 1100MHz for Mem. Why? There is something i can do to override this limit? thanks to everyone

You can use Rivatuner to OC past those limits. Otherwise, you would have to flash the VGA BIOS in order to increase CCC limits.

You shouldn't bother with BIOS flashing just for CCC. Just use Rivatuner as your main OC program and ignore CCC.

I've seen that with rivatuner i have some problems. Games become slowly... Maybe driver incompatibility or maybe incompatibility with ACC. In fact to restore everything i've unistalled drivers and acc and reinstalled them...

Rivatuner works. Just make sure to test for stability (ATITool, ATITrayTools, 3DMark).
You can modify the BIOS with RBE so that CCC limits are set higher. Careful thought, because that sometimes can cause problems with the driver itself.

Yes, i understand...i think i won't modify the bios for only this limit. I'll give another try to rivatuner, i know it works and it always worked fine with my previous 8600gts, except when i used a version of forceware not yet supported. that's why i thought it is a driver incompatibility

I'm using it with the 9.3 drivers and it works fine.

I have no issues running 2x 4850's with Rivatuner to set OC's.. current clocks are 745core/1170mem ...using latest drivers and CCC package.
