I just picked up my second HiS 4890 today, and totally psyched!! Has anyone tried overclocking their cards in a CF setup yet? If so, what are your experiences? On my first card, I was able to push it to 950/1100. Also, in rivatuner, I could only overclock the first card. The second card can only have the fan speeds adjusted. Does this mean that if I overclock the first card, it will automatically clock the second one?

Apparently overclocking one card while in crossfire will apply the same settings to the other card as well. I have no experience in this but I dug up this thread for you where someone mentions it.

That's what I heard too, but when I monitor the video cards in Rivatuner, only the first card has changes made. The second video card is still sitting at 850mhz. Weird??

OK... I have two xfx 4890s in a CF configuration.. You do have to change each cards setting to OC it... before you click on the link to pull up your rivatuner set up...there is a little window that shows information on your card.. if you click on that, you should see more than one entry...One is your master card...and the other is the CF slave(not sure if that terminology is totally correct) you have to make adjustments on each one. You have to do the same thing on your CCC setup. Use GPU-Z and in the lower left of the gpu-z there is a dropdown selector for each card... This will pull up the specs on each..
