I take my 600 core to 800 stable. I can only take my RAM (DDR2) from 400 (800) to 500 (1000). I think taking core closer to 700 might be doable. That RAM speed even seems like might work. Maybe just start a little lower and see what is stable. Watch temps. The worst that happens is notebook shuts down. If not set to start automatically when you restart back at default? I would never set to always OC only when I needed.

I see your 3DMark06 going from around 3000 to over 5000.

alright. thanks for the help

i have set 3 clock settings
one for default
one for 620/740
one for experiment on what max i can do
right now its set to 700/800

temps on idle is at 56

ill go play prototype for about 20 mins and see what max temp my gpu does.
if its temps will still be below 80 then ill set it the clocks higher
but once the temp his 80 then thats the limit for me
aiming for 75 degrees on full load.

but again thx for ur help
i might also wanna check into undervolting to make my laptop colder abit

Do you have a laptop cooler? My sisters laptop has a 2600 in it and it ran way cooler with a thermaltake laptop cooler she bought for it.

yup i have a zalman zm-nc2000
seems to be doing its job

and update on the max clock thing
i think i can put it to 740/840.

on 700/800 the max temp i can get is 66 but thats with the fan on medium speed . but as soon as the fan kicks in at max speed the temp goes down to 60 on max load.

so i think i can take it higher.

but ill do that after i undervolt to get less heat.
