Default Help overclocking Mobility HD2600 pls

i have a 2 year old laptop with an HD2600
i wanted to overclock it so i tried Atitool

the problem with atitool is the sliders woudnt move.
it woudnt let me change the clock and mem speeds

so i tried powerstrip
it did let me slide the sliders and change the clock and mem speed
but idk whether it applied the settings or not.

cause when i look at everest program it still says that my card is still using default clocks which is 500/600 =[

but powerstrip says its set to 640/790 ( i was aiming for 640/840 but 790 is the highest it would let me )
so idk whats going on.

but after using powerstrip i tried atitool once more(diff version)
and it said that my card is already overclocked.

i also installed radlinker which opend but opend with an error .(error 4 it said)

so iclosed it
after closign radlinker igot a BSOD
then restarted
then got another BSOD
the bsod only then stopped when i went to safemood and uninstalled my drivers and all the overclocking things i used
except for ppwerstrip.

so can someone help me on this ppls =[
im really confused.
did powerstrip already overclock my carD?
if so why is everest ultimate edition saying its still using default clocks?
grr =[

Have you tried Rivatuner? I think it works with mobile cards. I would uninstall powerstrip too.

i have tried rivatuner a long time ago.
it doesnt even show me the option to overclock =/.

http://i41.tinypic.com/2v0hg8m.jpg

but i went to "power user" setting and found these
http://i43.tinypic.com/2i23n8g.jpg
http://i39.tinypic.com/9uvjoo.jpg

should i check those to enable the overclocking option in rivatuner?
cause it doesnt give me the feature to overclock =/

and i just have uninstalled powerstrip just now btw.

i really want to overclock my laptops video card
ive seen people that have done so and had success with it
i just dont know why i cannot overclock mine =/

i also have tried RMclock or something liek that
same as atitool, wont let me change the sliders
as i change them and i hit "set clocks"
the settings go back to default.

i also have tried to find the catalyst overdrive thing for overclocking,
its not even in there =/.

I use AMD GPU Clock Utility, link. Made by AMD/ATI. Works on my HD3650m. My card is in most ways just a 55nm HD2600m. See my sig.

just downloaded it
installed and tried it

no luck =/
as i click set clocks it just reverts back to default.

i really dont understand why i cannot change the clock settings

could it be something in my laptops bios configuration?
my laptops an asus g2k.

and i tried to check the bios settings
and i can barely change anything.
i cant even change my processors clock speeds in there.

also im using the catalyst 9.6 drivers.
could it be that the drivers are not letting me overclock?
or my bios settings is locked for safety?.

idk =/

omg finaly!
i found a program that finaly let met overclock it

thank you everyone for replying

http://i42.tinypic.com/1igxtz.jpg

now what i want to ask is
is it safe if i put it to 640/840

cause thats what i was really aiming for.
is it safe with those current temps on idle?

Edit:

i tried the new clock settings and played the game prototype for about 20 mins
the temperature went up to 64

so if i put 640/840 it might spike up to 75 or something
would that still be safe?
