What are you saying that XP drivers can't install on Vista, i already shown proof that it does, how about if you try it yourself instead of talking nonsense ok.

I am not talking about with Crysis, and yes when using Xp drivers obviously on Vista, its going to run in Directx9 with games. I was talking about how i still have Direct X10 and all of that. Those are Xp drivers , and as i said i am using Vista 32bit, but every game is running in dx9 now. Which is not a bad thing.

Is there a source for this? How about a link to an official page. Not just some dodgy megaupload link. Sorry I don't trust it.

Megaupload is just a hosting site to host the file lol thats all.

Installs just fine on vista 32bit, but i guess if you want to wait for the official release, thats fine. Keep in mind when you install these drivers, every game will run in XP mode.
peace

I know what it is.
Where did you get the file?
What is the source of the Beta?

Got it from guru3d, another forum i post on:

http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.ph...77&postcount=1

Nobody is sure where that person gets those files, i have to wonder does he work for ATI or something. But he usually is the only person to release share beta drivers.

But if you don't trust it, just wait until the official release.

Exclamation

See: Vista Display Driver Model to know that XP drivers working in Vista is bunk. They don't. Now, however there may be Vista system files in that archive that are not referenced in the installers script so I'm not saying that this archive does not work somehow in Vista. There is no XP mode driver support in Vista. The models have changed.

Thanks for the warning, I almost fell for it. For those of you looking for these great performance gains, keep in mind that Legendary only plays on PCI (not PCI-X) graphics cards.

Xp ATI catalyst drivers work just fine in Vista 32bit SP2. No problems. However with Nvidia , thats a different story. I tried install them on vista, and it will install, but the CP is not present and half my games crash with a BSOD warning.
