Question Help with Mobility HD 3650

Hello.

I have ASUS M50Sa-AK0023 laptop. it comes with ASUS Mobility RAdeon HD 3650. I saw on internet that people successfully overclocked this chip. I downloaded ATI Tools .027 beta 4. Installed successfully. I am using WIndows 7 RC1 Build 7100 x64 (64 bit version). I didn't have any issues with installing drivers since I am running in test mode so unsigned drivers are allowed. ATI TOOLS started, showed my clock speeds but wont allow to adjust. I can slide them and values seem ok. Its just when I hit apply nothing changes. I checked in options box that says "apply clock speeds when slider moves" but after that I wasnt able to move slider at all. I am using latest catalyst drivers from ATI's website. They actually provide drivers for mobility radeon for Windows 7, since ASUS is not supporting it yet until the windows comes out.

I also tried Radeon 3600 series driver (not mobility) and then used mobility modder. no difference.

I have that but every time I try to set clock It crashes. Can yo let me know what values are you using for clocks? I tried lower than factory ones and it still crashes.

It could be OS related have you tried newer and older versions of AMD Clock?

Also when I open AMD Clock it does not show my default clocks correctly. It does not matter for my OC but thought I would mention.

Sorry I don't know much more, oh and this is the only one I found that worked for me.
